Alright so your happy cos you've checked again and yes there's another update and no its not cos we got to much time on our hands its because it one of the coolest places to go in New Zealand at the moment. Altho its not so sunny today but hey its still like 25 degrees so we wont complain to much. Back to the story, goes bit like this, the most wonderfull drive to the Corolmandel Peninsula all costal roads all by the sea. It's got to the point where i'm bored with inland driving completely and just want to drive next to the sea no mateer how twisty turny the roads are i love it, and i'm dreading the fact that i'm going to have to spend half a year driving round the M bloody 25, anywho thats a few more weeks off yet just incase you had forgotten. Yes we still got another 3 weeks i think. So the drive to Coromandel was great but the town its self was just a little small and quiet so gave us a bit of book time and chance to catch some more rays. We left the Corolmandel and headed towards Hot Water Beach (which some say is one of the best beaches in the world) well it quite possibly is, after driving across the Peninsula we arrived to blue water and golden sand and the sun blistering down on it. So in our eyes i think it possibly is the best beach ever. After a little paddle we decided to hire some body boards, for those who dont no what body boards are they're like short surf boards but you dont stand on them. 2 hours we spent in the sea pratting about tryin to 'catch a wave dude'. Which after a little while we started to do and it was pretty good fun when you catch a wave properly dude and it takes you up onto the beach!!! After we took the boards back we realised why all these dudes where a shirt on the top half of the body and that to stop ya nipples rubbing on the board....holy cow if only we knew that, i'd have put plasters on them or that nipple tape that my sister-in-law uses. We drove a bit further down the beach to middle beach and watched some proper surfers doing it properly and again caught some more rays, the tan is looking good now. Later we went into a bar just for a ice'd coffee and the barchick was the nuts, pretty blonde loved travel and surfing and skiing and drove and old V-Dub camper a good combination in my eyes ha. So we had a chat with her and she gave us a bit of free cake and soooo we left for the drive back to Auckland stopping in Kawakawa bay for the night which is where the ducks surrounded us, problem was we only had some Milo chocolate cereal to feed them and some chilli in a tin, we did have 2 tins of the chilli but we ate 1 tin and knottsyer got the s***s so we decided best he not eat the other one but hey the ducks loved it. I felt bad tho after and i shot up the shop and bought some bread for them....poor ducks! Up about 9 the next moring and bac to Auckland for some city sights. We walked round the city all day different shops starbucks is a popular choice. Then had spoken to Nathan Murray(he's working up here) and decided to go to the western springs speedway, Knotty stayed back with his chick and ate pizza and an early night no doubt and off i went to meet the boys at the speedway. The meeting was the ducks guts(like phil from oz said alot) the sprint cars are huge, we saw the same cars at Greymouth but this was on a bigger scale, i think it was NZ vs USA in the Midget cars so was some of the best drivers there and it showed. After Nathan recomended that we stood 'here' for the first sprint race we soon decided that wasn't the best idea as we walked back up in the stadium covered in mud. I tell you what...if we had these at home we wouldnt have solo's, the meeting started at 6:30 and finished at 10:30 all for $25 not alot. So in all the meeting was good altho there's always a downer on such a good night and that was one of the midget drivers had a heart attack whilst driving and slammed into the fence, he lost his life there and im sure many of the 2500 people wouldnt have known but i chose the wrong time to go to the bog and saw in the ambulance in which he lay'd. But back onto the possitive i'm sure knotty had a goosd night but i wouldnt no, and that brings us to today, going up in the sky tower i thing and maybe go and see jason bunyan..... other than that i'm offski.
