Right'o here we go again, i do hope that the blog updates have helped you to imagine the amazing things we have done and seen so far. Soooo we left nathan and nate and headed towards Wellington, and we drove on, passing through lots of little towns and through hills and fields (lots of those here and sheep and cows)and eventually we arrived at Wellington, Windy Wellington as Mandy called it, and she was quite right. We arrived a day before the gig and walked around for ages looking in shops etc and went to watch American Gangster at the Cinema to get out of some rain, then walked out after to some brilliant sunshine. That evening we went into town to find some chicks and after a bit of scouting about we met Karen and Bella from Brazil, (cant get away from brazilians haha) we spent most of the evening with them and spoke about meeting them later on back in Auckland. Some massive hangovers the next day but no problem, itwas the day of Kings of Leon, again spent the day doing pretty much sod all walking around, i kept my eyes open to see if i could get a picture of the band but no sign of them, just some old fella blowing his lungs out on some bag pipes( no offence to our jock friend but the noise those things make....shocking). So the evening went like this, bit of rice and beans change from mash i guess then a couple of beers and off to the gig. Wow what a night the KOL were AMAZING as i'd expected, knotty seemed to enjoy himself tho i think he may have been a little shocked when we found our selves in the mix of a MOSh ha ha. (just to let matt mac no it wasnt quite as good as Wembly mate) but even so still brilliant. next day off to do some laundry then some pictures and drive to the docks for a 12oclock ferry crossing to picton. we left Wellington still very windy and horribly overcast and arrived 3 hours later at Picton to the sun shining brightly. We drove all that day to Kaikoura where we spent our first night in a proper campsite. Early night and off to see the whales the next day.To see the whales was really wierd big arse sperm whales just there look just there ha. they were cool, a wicked boat to float on painted up in blue and yellow. We saw the Dusky dolphins to tho they were a bit boring, the guide explained that everyone needs a day off even dolphins. We left there quite pleased and chuffed about seeing all that. And drove to queenstown skipping past Christchurch. Anyway the sights on the route to queenstown were something else plenty to look at!! Right more update later on cos im running out of time. I've read 'The Long Way Round' from cover to cover(thanks for the loan Mac family) and have now bought 'The Long Way down' to read. Knotty has done more suduko than Mr Suduko himself and is now a brainiac and also a very good dishwasher, Lynn you will be suprised when paul returns a complete housemaid, washing up and tidying up, cooking. You'll be amazed ha ha.
Love to all Benny Knotty and now Molly not johnny any more, or Tractor to Meadow and Madi.
