the hardest thing about writing the blog is remembering where i finished last time, and right now i'm stuck so im just gonna check. oh yes, Auckland, well i have to explain a bit here otherwise it'll all seem a bit mad, madder. When we were traveling south at the begining of the trip we visited Wellington and met two Brazilian chicks(i did tell you but only quickly) anyway they live in Auckland and said that when we go there to call them up and go see em n there'll show us about a bit, well our Knottster took a shining to one of then, her name is Karen well anyway we stayed with them for a few days which ment i had a shower 3 days running!!! and slept in the camper alone for two nights, need i say more. The first day we arrived bout mid day then met the girls and headed to a park where we met another 15 Brazilians and spent the day watching a game of football between i think Korea vs The Rest of the World, very entertaining it was. The next day was sunday and it turned out that we were in Auckland in time to watch the north island speedway championships, well excited we drove to rosebank and had a look. Well to say it wasn't quite what we expected was an understatment.... erm think soutern track riders with maybe 3 confrence league riders and Andrew Bargh and Jason Bunyan, well suprisingly Bunyan won Bargh was 2nd and some other fella 3rd. I'm not gonna slag the meeting off because that would be unfair, i take my hat off to any of those nutters that want to ride such a rediculous sport and thank the track staff who work for sod all, but lets say that many of the people watching would love to see a grand prix or even an elite league meeting. After the meeting and realising that we were ever so slightly burnt we retreated to subway and then back to the girls flat, they went out the night but left us in charge of the flat so boys will be boys, we went to get beers and got a little drunk and watched some fireworks that went on for a good 20 mins, then talked drunken crap til we decided another beer is a bloody schtupiiid idea. Hangovers at the ready!! I woke up and felt reasonably good but knotty was a little worse, some would say that i'm a bad influence on him but i say it was extended birthday celebrations. So weleft for the Corolmandel Penninsular both drinking pints and pints of water and knotty giving the occational groan and argh and spending some of the trip asking just why do we do this to our selves???? Answers on the back of a postcard!!! i just want to add that we wish Richie Hawkins a speedy recovery afer reading about his crash in germany, im sure Ilene will let him no...cheers I.

On the next episode of benny and knotty oh and molly...the corolmandel....the surfing at hot water beach... the chick in the bar....and feeding the ducks chilli, stay tuned and remember if in doubt flat out... yea baby, were off for a starbucks, its needed in this 28 degrees
