We woke up from our first stay in a Motel in Medicine Hat, the strangest place name I think I've ever heard. I made myself my first ever filtered coffee and was pleasantly surprised, we then had a quick first McDonalds of the trip and got going. The drive was relatively non eventful, as per usual for these Canadian Badland roads, except for one huge piece of roadkill that Marie missed. We arrived in Regina at our Motel, and quickly got about finding how to get to the local sports bar. Taxis arranged we got there eager to try their tankards of beer and American style waitress service, which was fantastic I might add. They had WWE on the screens, sirens going off for the ice hockey when the Regina Pats scored and huge beers, I was right at home. 3 tankards, 2 danglers and a plate or ranch chicken tender benders later, it was time to go. Although I was sad to leave, I was pretty pooped from the drive, after the taxi arrived late, we got back to the Motel and crashed out watching the walking dead. We will definitely be attending the Canadian Brewhouse again.
