As we went to The Peak yesterday… we were going to find a beach no matter what!

Luckily the weather was nice and sunny… so we got a tube, then a bus to a beach called Shek-O, which was rated as being one of the best.

As soon as we got there we bought a ball and had a kick-a-bout on the sand! The beach was pretty empty - as it is actually winter here, but still hot to us! After working up a sweat we ran straight into the sea and dived into a massive wave, which was a tiny bit cold but you got used to it in seconds!

We spent most the day messing about on the beach, swimming, sunbathing, volleyball, football, diving off rocks etc… We even had a run along the beach to keep our fitness up ( worked out that Lloyd ran around 4.5 km in total). We had some dinner and a beer, then made our way back.

On the way back we picked up our laundry from a Chinese lady we had paid $70 (£6) to do for us. It was still a bit wet and she lost a pair of Tim's shorts but our hostel owner let us use his tumbledryer! Our flight to Vietnam was the next day so we had a chilled night and got everything ready to leave Hong Kong!
