Captains log 19/06/13 I awake extremely hazy from a very big night on board at the toga party. I was met with a shadowy figure of Bella standing over me, saying "I don't care how you feel we're having breakfast, get up" knowing that this was some ungodly punishment for carrying on last night I took my medicine. 8am :(! We got up to the pool buffet for some breakfast, this also seemed like the best time to have a swim, clear my head and hide from the mid day sun. I had a very simple bacon and egg sandwich and Bella had an assortment of big breakfast food, apparently egg on top of hash browns are amazing. The swim was so nice and refreshing and I felt alive again. Sam came and joined us for a swim and was trying to get me to have a cocktail with him, I did order one but was given a non alcoholic frappe instead I believe it was a blessing. Bella wanted to nap so we left the pool and she had a snooze why I watched the movie channel. A really cool movie about to killing of bin laden. Before we knew it, it was 1pm and it was beach time! Rhodes is amazing, the whole Bay Area is covered with a 1500/1600 time period castle wall. It was stinking hot and the 30 minute walk to the beach was a little painful. I wrapped myself in my towel to hide from the sun as we all walked talking about how fun last night was and going though each persons story's. we stopped and had a quick history talk from John the cruise manger. He explained that Rhodes was the place where the colossal lighthouse was! Again another ancient wonder of the world area visited! Naturally like all apart from the pyramids they have been long destroyed. We got to the beach and there's too things to do apart from sun bake and swim. A giant diving board about 50 meters out where people were jumping from, it's about 12 meters high, seemed cool, however we went to do water sports.! The whole beach is packed and we settled in a nice area near the water sport shack. Naturally I'm 100% in the shade, plus covered up and lapping up the service of two euro beers by many beach venders why Bella frolickes about in the sea with a few of the girls. People are doing parasailing and stingray and wake boarding but I'm just relaxing and enjoying the lovely day. Sadly it's common practice for anyone over the age of 50 to walk around topless, there were lots of horrible sunburnt old boobies happening. We all stay around talking and laughing and loving life. Lis fell in love with the place and wants to come back. Isaac a friend from wooga some how got a 2 hour full body massage for 40 euro, no idea but he was very happy with himself. Also I'm told that after almost 4 years of being together that's the first time I've ever swam at the beach with Bella! She was a happy panda, everyone was quite proud I got in, finding out very quickly my fear of the sun! It was 430 and time to go back to the boat, feeling very hungry and very pinkish we found a euhros those strange Greek kebabs with chips in and had a snack! We got back on board and got showered and ready for the captains cocktail! Meet and greet with the boss! We meet everyone at 730 in one or the bars, and I was met with questions of where's my drink and if I wanted a shot. There's a group of people who are on a mission to get me drunk because apparently my very late nights and some want chirpy mornings have found me many enemies on the party front :p. we sat around listening to people butcher songs with the average karaoke set up. Sitting there waiting for the captain. 9 o'clock came still waiting we decide that it was a no show! So we went to have dinner. Then bam, captain was in a different bar and the whole thing was really poorly organized by John. That pissed me off because I was super keen to get a photo with him, Bella's judging me for this. We went up for a buffet dinner with Elliott and tarlia another cool couple we have befriended. Although I was in a frump so I didn't eat, again I'm over gruel. They went to bed and we went to the casino, it's a decent set up. I changed a 100 and started playing. Up and down, I think I played a pretty s*** night although I walked away even, so many bad or "unlucky" calls as some people say. Lis came in very drunk and started playing next to us, however she has never played and was extremely excited about playing, she won 40 euros not bad, but she was over the moon. Once that was all done and dusted it was time to get some sleep we have a big day tomorrow in Crete!

P.s there is a women on this boat I have nicknamed the joker! She is about 50/60 and wears make up that looks exactly like the joker in batman.she dresses like a 18 year old super model, at one time a no underwater trip in a obscenely short dress. This is just a message so if I read it I can giggle about how messed up she is.
