Today we left Mont St Michel headed for Tours and the Loire Valley. Pumped along the motorway with the help of Basil (our GPS) and arrive at our accommodation about 3 hrs later. We are staying in a B&B in a little French village called Fondettes. About 15mins from Tours. The B&B is absolutely beautiful and very comfortable. A nice warn shower with decent water pressure for a change, you can actually wash the soap off. The rooms that we have are the old barn that Martine, the owner, has immaculately restored. Attention to detail is wonderful. We drove to Tours for dinner, but being tourists parked in the seedy part of town. It is a very old town with lots of the houses built in tudor style, and most on a bit of a lean. Pasta for dinner, home to bed.
