Today we went on a Gondola ride. It was a tiny little boat. The man was standing up at the back and paddling. We went in and out of little canals and saw some beautiful buildings. The boat was a bit wobbly. All the men paddling the Gondolas wear blue and white or red and white striped shirts. We also saw a huge cruise ship come into the Grand Canal. We could see it just outside our bedroom window. It was the biggest boat I've ever seen. From Sascha xoxoxo

Today we caught a plane to Venice in Italy. The trip was about 5 hours and the flight attendants were really nice. We got our own kids snack pack and lunch. They even gave us our own tiny toothbrush and paste. When we got to Venice Airport we caught a boat called a "Valporetto" into Venice City. We then had a dinner of Spaghetti Bolognaise and Gelato before walking around a heap of little lane ways looking at canals and old buildings. The city is very old and ...
