Today we went into Florence City. We walked with a guide for 3 hrs looking at the sights. There were lots of old buildings and churches with lots if artwork. We also saw lots of statues. It was tiring. We did some shopping. Gabe got a jacket from the Ferrari store and he was very excited. Mum got some nice clothes and some leather gloves. There were a lot of leather shops. After we got home and had a snack we went to a lookout called "Piazella Michaelangelo"....

We went to the St Marks Basilica this morning. It is a huge church with lots and lots of gold everywhere. All of the ceilings are mosaics in gold. We then left Venice. We caught a water taxi to the train station then we caught a train to Florence. The train was really fast (up to 300km/hr) and went through some really long tunnels.
