Today mum and I went on a bus trip around Athens which is the Capital of Greece. We went to a huge place on top of a hill called the "Acropolis". There was a lot of old buildings there. The biggest one was called "The Parthenon". The wind blew a bit hard and I lost my hat!

We then went into town and saw the "Panathenaic Stadium" where the Olympics come from.

Mum and I then walked around Athens for a couple of hours by ourselves. We tried to do some shopping but the clothes are very expensive here and we can get things a lot cheaper back home. I did find something special for Gabe - some George Pig swimmers! I bet he will love them.

We had a Greek Salad and bread for lunch. Mum took some stuffed vine leaves back to the ship for Dad.

My favourite thing about today's trip was looking at the shops.
