Becky Bravo's Adventures
We got an early start today and went out to explore the city. We went and saw La Bufadora (Blowhole) which was a bit of a drive. The cruise ship was offering this as an excursion for about $30 a person, however we went into town and got the very same excursion for only $15 each. In your face Carnival Cruise lines!! ;)
Our tour guide for this excursion was AWESOME! Very funny and knowledgeable. We enjoyed some time getting to see the blowhole and got some great photos. There was a market that lead down to the water, so of course we enjoyed bargaining with the locals and buying some souvenirs.
I got my hair braided, which I love getting done. Jaime got some street tacos. We enjoyed some free margaritas and the views of the water and La Bufadora in action. We spent a couple of hours in this area before we had to catch the bus back to town.
Once back in town we immediately went to Starbucks (lame, I know!) but it wasn't for drinks. We took advantage of their free internet and checked on Winnie who was doing just fine. I think being at overnight Doggy Daycare is ********* us than it is for her. She has lots of doggies and humans to play with.
We then found an awesome Cantina - Papas and Beer and enjoyed some authentic Mexico nachos, beer, margaritas, and quesadillas. We then found another cheap bar and got some more drinks (so much cheaper than aboard the ship!) and made our way back to the cruise ship.
Ensenada was definitely a lot of fun. Of course it is nice that Jaime speaks Spanish so it is easier to bargain with the locals and find our way around. We also got a lot of walking in, so by the time we got back on the ship, we spent some more time by the pool/hot tub and water slides.

Melody GREAT pictures and commentary. Thanks for taking me along. I love breakfast any time of day. Sounds like you made the very most of every day. Yes, added advantage that Jaime spoke the language. Love, ME
