Becky Bravo's Adventures
Had another long day yesterday, but we were ready to take on our last adventure before the return home. Today we did a triple tour, which included a canopy tour, zipline adventure, and bobsled ride.
The sloooow ride into the rain forest was quite relaxing. It was like a ski lift thing and it took us pretty high up which was scary, but it was perfectly safe. We got to wander around some shops and read up on Jamaican Olympic history and other cool historic stuff. They really play up the bobsled thing, which is cool.
The bobsled ride looked a little cheesy, but was in fact quite exhilarating. I got to control how fast we went too, which was probably more scary for Jaime as his bobsled was connected to mine, and he just had to ride along with whatever I did. Muahahaha! Again, we were safe.
We then got to enjoy a different water slide and some relaxation in their little pool area. We got some great pictures, as you can see.
And finally, after much waiting, we got to begin our zipline adventure. The guides were awesome, and I will be honest and tell you the ziplines in Thailand were more fun, but this was awesome nonetheless. The scariest part was the vertical drop which they have you step off this high deck and then they just drop you down to ground level. It was funny to hear people's reactions to that as every single person screamed.
We then rode the ski lift thing back to the parking lot and rode back to the resort. We had dinner reservations at the Italian Restaurant that night and we definitely saved the best for last. It was by far the best food we had all vacation. (According to me anyway).
We finally ended the night by listening to an awesome reggae band and dancing the night away.
