After the whitsundays, I split off from Hannah and Hellie to go to Magnetic Island for the full moon party and to do a dive whilst they headed up to Cairns. It was a short and sweet stay for just one night but totally worth it. I absolutely loved the island...it was stunning! Wish I could have stayed longer. My hostel was wicked...right next to the beach, surrounded by palm trees, and had an awesome pool! Rosie and some other people I met joined me too which was cool. After some chilling out in the pool, we partyed at the full moon party. It wasn't quite as how I imagined it to be...nothing like Thailands..it wasn't even on the beach but it was still great to go to! I only got about 4 hours sleep before I was up at sunrise to go on my dive.

The boat ride out to the great barrier reef was about 2 1/2 hours long so when we got there I was feeling a bit dodge...so I ended up throwing up over the side! Haha...I never even get seasick! Once I was in the water it was fine though and I absolutely loved it! It was a wreck dive at 29m.The boat was completely covered in coral and they were stunning! we also saw a massive turtle which I swam alongside for ages, massive stingrays, sea snakes...dangerous enough to poison you, millions of fish, and a fish the size of a car!! It was great! Absolutely loved it!
