Saturday July 23rd Left Chang Mai and took a long bus ride to Chiang Khong. After a few hours we stopped a bathroom brake at a rest stop. Crossed the border in Thailand safe and sound and even practising my thai (well I had just about mastered thank you by then!) It was then straight back onto the bus to travel north to the coast .. hurrah ... a few days relaxing on the beach! We arrived in Ao Nang in the afternoon, a small town on the coast about 30 mins drive from Krabi. We went out for a local thai dinner and then onto a small local thai bar to enjoy a few cocktails.
