We arrived in San Pedro after an 18 hour over night bus trip from La Serena. The town is like something from a western movie with sand houses and dust streets. There is one main plaza and street, few bars and restaurants. Arrived in Chile yesterday after quite an effort getting across the border. I arrived in Bariloche yesterday. Jo decided in the end to fly from Puerto Madryn and so stayed a few more days than me but i thought could not justify the cost and I am now just about beginning to get used to 12 hour daily bus trips!!
