Melbourne to Adelaide (Great Ocean Road), 7th April to 9th April. After Tasmania I flew back to Melbourne with a rough plan in my mind of what I was going to do next and what path I was going to take around Australia; to my dismay all the tours I wanted to go on were all booked up so instead of one day I intended to stay in Melbourne I had 5 days to wait till I could get onto the tour I wanted! Well I got went for a quick walk after getting to my hostel and decided I liked Melbourne as a city better than Sydney. It doesn't have the wow factor sights but the city seems more pleasant, it has a bit more of an arty vibe and the streets are wider with building not quite so high towering above you.
