Four hour bus trip to get to this place, we were all looking forward to seeing the accomodation as it was listed as a resort - turned out to be nearly the worst so far; it was just a bleak sterile block of apartments. This was a tiny town with not much to do (except eat and visit temples) but I figure we stopped here as it was on route to the golden triangle. The Golden triangle is where Thailand, Laos and Berma all meet in one point. There was a rather nice coffee shop and it was quite chilled out here; the girls moaned quite a bit as they couldn't figure out why the tour stopped in such a crap place!
