I had by now had enough thai food, what with being ill as well I had had about all we could take so I splashed out and got a steak and chips! Followed by Haagen Daz Ice cream (I haven't stopped eating ice cream since then really as they have it really cheap on the streets). We ate at a river front posh restaurant as everyone wanted a treat!
We then went round the market a bit and went to see a lady boy show. They were really good, I wouldn't have a clue they were blokes - the no it all Oz girls of course knew. There show was crap though, they just mimed to songs and waved there arms around a bit! We also saw some thai boxing which was a bit more interesting to watch - the winner goes round with a tips bucket afterwards!! They were only amateurs though, it was free to watch. I didn't drink due to anti-biotics.
The following day was quite chilled we went round the day market which was completely different to the night market coz this one is meant for Thai people. Then in the afternoon me and the lads went to a swimming pool we could use free in a posh hotel whilst the girls went on a cooking course (they both still live at home, of course!).
We are bit of a boring bunch as we all went to bed early again - the highlight of the evening was Jack getting 6 of us on a tuk tuk (they only normally take 3 people) - fair play it did get us back to the hotel but sadly I couldn't get a pic! I was a bit miffed as I had found some lovely banana desert from the market which was particulary hard to eat when squished in the back of a tuk tuk!
