So after my first decent nights sleep on the road I have made it to Greymouth. I have to admit this is the nicest place I have stayed. It is clean, tidy, friendly and I got 30 mins free interenet!
On the scenic drive here, I stopped off in Hokitika which is a quaint little town which I quite liked. I enjoyed a pot of tea in a lovely cafe called 'Millies'. How english am I! I also had a look around there glass blowing studio and the jade factory. After lunch on the beach I made the final 25km to Greymouth.
I quite like the town as it is busier and there are more things to do than some of the other places but it is still not huge! I am going to have a late night tonight as will be ringing uni to find out degree results argh! However I do have the cat and dog of Noah's Ark backpackers to keep me company!
As you can tell this place lives up to its name and each room is named and has an animal theme. I am occupying the 'pig' room. I hope that is not a reflection of my character.
Going to take an easy evening as planning on going to pancake rocks tomorrow followed by a look in the jade shop here before having a run. So I busy day for me tomorrow.
Will sign off and will continue to keep you updated on my adventures and results!
