Well 30 hours of travelling, 5 airports and 4 flights and I have finally arrived at the other side of the world. I am surprisingly awake and not feeling too bad from all the travel but I think that might have something to do with the large amount of sleep gained due to diazepam! Apart from having to be in a tiny tin box that flies, the travel was alright and the food was always welcome along with catching up on films that I never got round to seeing.

For all of you hoping to here that it is rubbish weather just so you can feel better about yourselves I am going to disappoint. It was lovely and sunny on arrival with the temperature being around 13 degrees. So if this continues I am not going to complain.

The boys have shot up and I got a welcome by the 2 boys and Helen which was nice. They all appreciated the chocolate too as you just dont get mars bar's, matchmakers or galaxy over here!

I am hopefully going to be able to make a start on a plan of activities as to what I am going to do when I hit the road on Friday tomorrow along with going for a run. Yes even marathon training has to be continued whilst out here, oh the joys.

Anyways I will sign off here as a cup of tea is calling me, before I hit the sack in a bit as there has been little proper sleep received over the last 30 hours!
