We made it to Budapest without any problems. Our apartment is located on the Pest side of the city, where most of the action is. We are literally just steps away from several main tourist attractions, and a stop for the Hop on & Off Bus is right across from us! This makes it nice for sightseeing, not so much for sleeping since there's no a/c in the apartment. It's been hot since we arrived, up in the high 80's and low 90's. Ugh. Fortunately, our apt is on the shady side of the building, so it hasn't been too bad.
We've been busy touring--rode all around the city on the tour bus, took a one hour river cruise on the Danube, had a great food tour, visited the famous Szèchenyi thermal baths, and strolled around Elizabeth Park, which is right across from us. Lots of street food and vendors selling all kinds of stuff. There's also a huge Ferris wheel like Paris & London have, but I couldn't talk Rich into riding.
Our ship, The Viking Skadi, has already docked! It's about a 10 minute walk from the apartment to the ship, and we will be heading there today about noon. Fingers crossed for good wifi!!

Kit Mike wouldn't ride a Ferris wheel either. Hates heights. Budapest sounds interesting.
