OMG! Frowny-face. Like, why do I have to be sick? It's like not fair. Like totally not fair. Like, like, like….
Okay. That’s enough of that. I could do more, but my brain is starting to melt and ooze out my ears.
So, really, I am still under the weather (like, there’s a thunder storm raging outside the RV—AHHH! I did it again). I feel better than I did yesterday, but we have postponed going into Colonial Williamsburg once again. We’ll be going in tomorrow and Wednesday. Ironically (or par for the course), the weather has been sunny. But right now, we’re sitting in a storm that just started an hour or so ago and will last at least through Thursday. Oh well, we have raincoats.
I didn’t feel like doing anything today, but Barbara drove to the visitor center at Williamsburg and got the lay of the land. We’ll be ready for tomorrow (assuming they’re open in the rain, just my luck if they’re not). I stayed home and watched movies and ate bonbons all day. It reminds me of when I first retired and Barbara was still working.

Rich Bill: So sorry you are under the weather. (Stupid phrase. We are all either under the weather or in it). Now here is the cure for your illness. Have Barbara go into downtown Williamsburg to the Greasy Spoon Fast Foods & Spa on the corner of Old Sott and Goat Hollow Roads and purchase a takeout order of Okra with a side of grits. After you eat a plateful, I guarentee your sore throat will be entirely gone, or will have moved down to your bowels. And no, you don't owm me for this advice.
laurel loved your sicky get up--wasn't sure if it was a bunny rabbit or really you--got a good laugh out of that but sorry to hear you are still not feeling well. glad you are able to take it easy. get well sooooon!
