Since we have LOTS of time, we figured this is a good time to try to catch up with the blog. We both got carpel tunnel, but we’re making progress. Cody from Camping World came to our site to take pictures of the broken jack. Here’s a guy who’s not supposed to leave the Camping World property during working hours, but he came here so that I wouldn’t have to disconnect and drive over there. I’ve never seen that. I think I like it here....

We took the RV over to Camping World and left it to be evaluated. We went to Bob Evans Restaurant for breakfast. With no RV to go to and sit in, we sat in the empty camp site for two hours waiting to hear from Camping World. Finally got the RV back, and Camping World will order the part tomorrow morning (today is Memorial Day).The KOA advertised a Memorial Day barbeque with free hamburgers, drinks, popcorn, and ice cream. Ah, these days of leisure. I was able to sit all afternoon for, sometimes, up to 10 whole minutes at a time. The rest of the time I was loading a washer, unloading the washer, loading a dryer, unloading the dryer, hanging shirts, folding underwear. The highlight of my day was when, unbeknownst to me, I dropped one of my dirty skivvies on the floor, and a woman (another camper) came through the laundry room and pointed out to me that someone dropped their shorts....

We got into Nashville early enough in the day that we decided to stop in and see if a mechanic was available to evaluate the damage now. No one was available, but we met Cody in person. We’ll keep the appointment on Monday morning and relax for the weekend.

Saturday-Sunday, October 29-30, 2011Comments: We took a tour of Nashville on Saturday. The bus picked us up at 8:30 am (I thought I was on vacation), and we went all over Nashville.
