Day 9
Today was a long day starting at 9am and not ending until 2 the next morning. We left tel aviv and headed to meet Arryn in Jerusalem. After walking a while, grabbing lunch and catching several buses, we made it to Arryns cousins, Ezra and Andy Korman, just outside Jerusalem. Whilst technically we were in the West Bank, we are in a very secure settlement called Kfar Adummim, so don't worry mothers.
As soon as we got here, we went to the shops with Andy and bought the supermarket out. The amount of food we bought was ridiculous.... I could tell we were going to be very happy over the next few of days.
After a couple of hours of shopping we made it back home and rewarded ourselves with a couple of snacks. But the refreshment was short lived as the temperature was scorching. As such we headed to the communal pool and went for an extended dip.
After our exhausting swim we returned home for a relax and more food. This was short-lived as soon after we were joined by Ezra and headed off to Jerusalem. As Ezra is a tour guide we were given a very touristy drive, full of facts, into town.
Once in town we went to the old city, and met Yonah at the Jaffa gate. The 4 of us and Ezra went to the light show throughout the city that has been running for 2 weeks. The lights were everywhere, in caves, on the gates and on many walls, it was very entertaining. We also saw a ping pong show, however it was very different to a Thailand one. Hahaha. This one mearly shot the balls onto drums making a bit of noise.
After we got bored of the lights by 12am we went and got a very extravagant dinner in Jerusalem. By the time we finished and got home it was approaching 1:30 and from there the three of us hit the hay. That's all for now.
