Day 12

After just 6 hours of sleep we woke up at 8 in the hostel and got ready to go to the old city. As I was going back to Tel Aviv later in the day, I quickly packed my bags and checked out.

We took a long stroll to the old city where we arrived just before our tour started. We all went on the Western Wall tunnel tour which took us right to the bottom of the wall and all the way along. The tour was very informative and gave me a whole new view of the wall. You can't believe how big the temple was and how big the wall still is until you go to the bottom. It's hard to believe that people 2000 years ago could build something like this.

After this we headed back to Ben Yehuda street and grabbed a bite to eat. We also visited a kippah shop which had so many hilarious kippahs I had to buy one. From there the guys headed back to the hostel and I jumped on a minibus to Tel Aviv headed to Adams.

It was at this point Steve lost item one of his trip - his sunglasses (I think I left them on the bus). Whilst they were only 15 shek it marks the first loss of the trip. Haha

After chilling at Adams place for a while we headed to Leeat and Magals for Shabbat dinner. Everyone was there ad we had a great evening. From there we headed home watched some tv and had an early night.
