Today is the day we've been waiting for! This morning we took a cab downtown and had breakfast at a farm to table place owned by a Canadian who moved here. The food was great. Well we've had the best day yet and it's only our second day here, so I imagine we'll have a lot more awesome days. Costa Rica has put us on a very strange schedule. I don't know when the sun comes up but when I woke up this morning at 5:45 the sun was out in full force. Since the sun rises so early and sets around 6 we've been going to bed around 8 and getting up around 6 or so. I'm a night owl so this feels weird to me, but I like making the most of the sunligh...

We made it to Costa Rica yesterday afternoon. We spent the night in San Jose. I knew not to expect much from San Jose. I'll just say that I'm glad we only spent one night there. We left at 7AM to come to La Fortuna. The drive here is no joke! It's a lot of winding roads. When the winding finally stops the road is really bumpy.
