Hi Everyone!!!! Did you miss me??
We have been out in the sticks for the past week and have had no phone reception so we are sorry if you were worried but we are all fine.
We left our caravan stored at Kununurra and went out to El Questro for 4 days. It was such a beautiful place that mum could have stayed there much longer!! The Gibb river challenge was on so the night we arrived so did 500 bike riders and their support crew and a band so the "Wilderness experience" that we were hoping for didn't happen! Dad stayed with me the next day while mum did a 6 hour bush hike into Champagne springs gorge. She is crazy but she loved it. We did every 4 wheel drive track we could find which dad said was awesome but to be honest I got sick of the bouncing around!!! Mum and dad loved Zeebedee Springs which was hot springs coming out of a hill. Mum said it was paradise. I had a great time swimming around in the water hole right by our camp site it was the only place I could swim that had no crocs!
We left El Questro and headed back to Kununurra to pick up our van and as we pulled into the storage place the aircon pulley let fly and snapped the belt which then punctured the top radiator hose!!! My dad is very clever and soon had us back on the road. We arrived in Lake Argyle and settled in and then went for a big walk. It was an amazing place. The caravan park has a pool called infinity pool which mum and dad loved even though they said it was a bit cold. The dam was really cool and the lake huge. I really wanted to go swimming but I couldn't because of crocs. I really like it up here but boy am I sick of these crocs.
We left Lake Argyle and crossed the border. Mum and dad were really excited but I didn't really get what the hype was because it was just another road with a sign. I couldn't see any line. Mum said we had lost an hour and a half of the day but I couldn't see where. They changed the time on the all the clocks but mum kept annoying dad with the WA time which really annoyed him and made him grumpy which made mum laugh at him more so I joined in. We travelled all day and stayed at a free camp area. We went for a big walk but when it got dark mum and dad teased each other about going outside with the big boars they had seen killed on the road. Mum swore to dad she could hear them snorting outside the van but it was just me snoring.
We arrived in Darwin late yesterday afternoon and back to civilisation of google and wifi. Mum and dad were so excited they even bought a newspaper! But guess what? I still can't swim because there are even bigger crocs here!! We went for a walk last night near the beach, if you can call it a beach, it is nothing like the beach at home. I miss home but I heard mum tell dad the weather at home and I don't want to be there in the rain, I love the sunshine and the warm weather.
