Howdy.

Just popped into an internet cafe to update the blog. It's now Wednesday and after much deliberation, Laura and I have quit our programme with Gap Sports. If any of you are thinking of doing a Gap Sports programme, don't bother! It's all a bit of a scam and although it was our main reason for coming to South Africa, we are not prepared to compromise our standards of safety and basic hygeine even if a bunch of 18 year olds are!

So, the long and short is that we will be leaving P.E on Friday morning and travelling down to Jeffery's Bay which is supposed to be a surfer's paradise....(yes, we know neither of us can surf but we're hoping to pick up a few lessons there.)

Laura is completing her PADI certificate at long last and we both hope to do a boat dive tomorrow so things are generally looking up. Unfortunately, PE and Gap Sports in particular, has left us with a bit of a bitter taste in our mouths but we have informed them that we intend to take it further when we get back to the UK,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,bet they're scared!

Will take a few photos of PE today or tom and upload them for you to see as it's generally a very nice place with some very nice people (especially after they'd just won the first 20/20 cricket game last night!)

We will be cheering on England tonight and also the rugby team on Friday (It seems that the football team are playing better since we left) but we may buy ourselves some green and yellow rugby shirts on Saturday to avoid utter huniliation in the street!
