Hi ya!

Well the weather here in Sydney has been very changeable in the last couple of weeks but it looks like the sun has really come out now. Christmas eve was a little strange here on Bondi Beach not being anywhere near as lively as we thought it would be. It would seem everyone "saves themselves up" for the big Party on Christmas Day but due to a disappointing day weather wise on the 25th, the big boom never really happened. We kept hearing people saying that there was no-where near the amount of visitors they had in previous years.

Anyway, we kind of got through an average day on the 25th and went for our parasail yesterday which was great. (Photos to follow!) We got the ferry across to Manly Beach and went approx 100ft (well high) to see all around the Harbour. Again, the weather wasn't fantastic but nevertheless it was a great experience. We were a little depressed by the weather so had to resort to drinking champagne on the roof top balcony of the hotel overlooking the beach (yeah we knew that''d get your sympathies!)

Today (28th) was MUCH warmer so we grabbed our body boards and walked the 20 paces or so to the beach allowing ourselves to behave like juvenile numbnuts being thrown here and there by the waves with the thousands of others who had the same idea. Much fun was had and after a few hours we decided to retreat back to the roof top pool and spa to catch a few more rays. The forecast for the next few days also looks very good so just more of the same hopefully.

Just off for dinner now. I know there will be many people connected with St George's reading this so just to mention that we will both be thinking of the Boyces today and to give them all our love.
