Hi Everyone.

Managed to actually find a computer that allows us to upload some photos so we hope they come through ok. We have been in the campervan for nearly a fortnight now and it's given us a huge amount of freedom to see as much of Australia as we possibly can.

From Cairns, we have traveled along the East Coast on the 'Bruce Highway' stopping at various places along the way including the Whitsundays just beyond Airlie Beach…(photo's of the reef and our helicopter ride should show you just how beautiful it is)

We stopped off at Surfer's Paradise a few days ago and hired surf boards for a few hours….but it will take both of us more than a few hours I think.. was pretty good fun though. Byron Bay was also very pretty but then virtually every beach you come across is picturesque and feels like it has been in a movie somewhere.

Thanks again for all the messages you keep sending us…..they make us both laugh out loud and it gets us some funny looks in the internet cafes so it's all good and Laura would like to congratulate Libby on her literacy skills, they've really come on in the last few weeks!

Stannard….. Clive Allen is not even worth rubber neckin' at let alone falling over yourself to see him!

Neither of us can really get to grips with the fact that Christmas is 9 days away and yet we're sunbathing and swimming every day. The camp site we're in were rehearsing for their Christmas concert this afternoon and we could hear Jingle Bells over the PA whilst sunbathing…..very bizarre!!

We have got as far as Coff's Harbour today but have both been in very somber moods since hearing about the Boyce family's tragedy and for anyone connected with them or St George's, Laura and I both would just like to say that obviously, our thoughts go out to them. xxx
