As boarder towns go they're all generally a bit strange and Corumba was no exception...

The town was dilapidated to say the least, most streets run down with buildings closed and what was open didn't offer much!

We checked into an old 'hotel', to say it had seen its hay day would have been an exaggeration, walls crumbling and creepy corridors winding around a huge interior. Our room was also something out of the movies.

In need of a complete refurb with cracking walls, open pipes and industrial fans hanging off the ceiling. It had 3 beds arranged strangely around the room, 2 single beds next to each other with old wooden frames and a random circular bed resembling something out of a porn film! There was also only one normal, painted wall, placed directly behind the circular bed!
Sleeping with one eye open, it was another funny experience looking back!

Next day crossing the boarder and into Bolivia...
