Boarder crossing opened which was a relief after we herd rumours it had shut during the Brazilian bank holiday.
Smooth crossing and onto a 9 hour bus to Santa Cruz. We opted against the 'Death Train' when we heard we could board a coach within 2 hours of being across the boarder and it took 9 hours instead of 16!
Got on the coach and it was the best in South America yet (bar a couple of screaming children!). Massive seats not far off 1st class on a plane, full recline and only 3 across the bus width instead of 4! Also had wifi on occasions which was good!
One night in Santa Cruz, brilliant hostel, done up really nice, comfortable, clean, and quite a few backpackers checked in so a nice change to the boarder town!
Another big bus the following day, some big distances covered over the past week but the long journeys will slow after this. Starting to realise how South East Asia will pretty much fit into Brazil!
Think the lucky bus was also a teaser that wouldn't continue though the rest of Bolivia!
