Well that was an exciting experience. Picked up the bikes at London Bridge then panic "how do we get out of here". Saw other cyclists and jumped on and followed them across London Bridge and down onto the embankment where there was a great cycle highway "safe!" It was great we rode along the Thames past all the rowing clubs through Putney and out to Richmond Park. London is full of the most amazing green spaces it's hard to believe. Richmond Park is huge with walking paths, horse riding paths and a 7.5km road /cycle path around the circuit with other paths crossing the centre giving you lots of options. There were cyclists every where and family's pickinicking walking the dog or just enjoying the sun. We contiunued fron here further along the Thames pathway it was stunning. Through a couple of town's and arrived at Hampton Palace. A nice pub "Kings Arms" welcomed us in so we stopped for lunch and a pint. Through Hampton Park another beautiful green space. We visited Lady Diana's Fountain and had to stop for the deer on the path so cool to see right in front of you. Headed back again along the Thames pathway watching rowers and the old steamship passing by. Managed to get a bit off track and ended up in the middle of Chelsea and had to get directions from a couple of bobbies the way home but all wasn't lost as i saw some great shops to go back to how lucky was that. After a long day in the saddle we arrived back safely at 6pm what a buzz and London cycling very cool. What next!!
