Sadly we are on our way home. We got up at 4:30am to take the shuttle to Honolulu airport where we boarded our flight to Sydney. At the airport I had my palms swabbed for explosives and they tested positive, this red light started flashing and the security officer called someone on her walkie talkie and I thought I was going to get sent to Guantanamo Bay! They took me into a little room and did a full pat down search and went through my bag, then let me go thankfully! They said it was probably moisturizer on my hands that caused the test to show positive, phew! The flight to Sydney was ok, we hired an iPad and watched four movies which pretty much filled the ten hours. Now we are in Sydney and will be boarding our flight home to Melbourne in about an hour. This trip has been even more incredible than I imagined, I never realized USA would offer so many different experiences in the one country, it's been a wild ride, looking forward to seeing Fred in a few hours (and my family too!).
