Yesterday we hired a monster Harley and checked out the island of Oahu. First we hooned over to Pearl Harbour and had a look at the memorials. Next we headed up the middle of the island to Waimea Bay and all the beaches of the North Shore where the surf was pumping. We stopped in an old surfing village and I tried an acai bowl which was yum and Jamie had some roadside rotisserie chicken which was also super tasty. We stopped at Waimea Bay and Pipeline and watched some surfers for a bit then kept cruising around the island. We also stopped at Hanauma Bay and a big blowhole right near there, then drove up a bit of Diamond Head and back to Waikiki. We dropped the bike off and went for a swim in the ocean, which was pretty warm then got changed and went to a little Japanese izakaya for dinner where we had yakitori and okonomiyaki, it felt like we were back in Japan! As it was St Patricks day we went to a pub after dinner and played some pool and met another Aussie couple who we had a bit of a chat with. Next we stopped at a karaoke bar but there was a big queue so we decided to call it a night.
