Today we checked out of paradise and flew to Honolulu and settled ourselves at Waikiki beach. We checked into our lovely hotel and went shopping and exploring. For lunch we tried Loco Moco which was actually a bit gross, it's a hamburger patty on rice topped with fried eggs and smothered in gravy. It helped fix the slight hangover we had from happy hour last night but I don't think I'll miss it when we get home! We caught the trolley car around Waikiki and over to a big outdoor shopping mall, which gave us an opportunity to check out the Waikiki area. When we got back to the hotel we went for a stroll along the beach and watched the sunset then had a few beers at Dukes barefoot bar which is actually in our hotel. We grabbed some dinner at the Dukes bar then crashed, tomorrow we are gonna hire a Harley and check out the North Shore.
