What an educational day! Today was the first day of rain so far on the trip, we woke to it pouring down so got a cab to the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum where we took a free 1:30 tour which was great as we got to learn about all the old planes and also the space shuttles. We made it to DC finally after an anxious wait at Aspen airport. The winds were high and some planes weren't flying as they deemed it too dangerous. Our frontier pilot was a bit if a cowboy and decided he could take off surrounded by all the mountains in the wind and thankfully he got us to Denver safely.
