Bunked down on the road for a second and third night. The second night was west of Lincoln, Nebraska because the wind really picked up and all the trucks were leaving the road. We all stayed in a Wal-Mart parking lot. It was almost full at midnight. I'll find the location later by looking for the Tyson chicken plant which was the size of Wolfville. The third night was in Rock Springs, Wyoming which put me in striking distance of Salt Lake City. A few people have asked if I've used the bike and the trailer yet. Nope, not yet. I just haven't found an area up until now that I feel I need to get farther off the beaten track to discover things and I am trying to get to Yosemite where the jetstream might be a little more favourable and can set up the RV and not have to tear it down the next day. Most days have been about the driving and trying to be a bit careful about kilometres because the ultimate goal is California, Arizona and New Mexico and then the trek back south. At any point now it would be worth setting up and going riding but the temps for Reno are soooo much warmer than for Salt Lake City so I think I will keep heading west.
