We are staying in 'town', in a building with stilts above the water just like this. Very picturesque! But tomorrow we are taking the 5 hour ferry on to the tiny island of Koh Lipe, where we'll hopefully do another dive. Shark count: still zero!!!

Yay! Another dreamy beach ... and - for a change - completely without people trying to sell us something. Instead we apparently come a little too close to monkey territory and almost get attacked ... Morten has to kick sand at the approaching beasts and scream really loud to make them back off. Thankfully they are too busy having some adult-style fun with each other to follow us further down the beach as we retreat quickly.

Aaaah... a nice glass of cold Chardonnay at sunset... Bliss! At 100 baht it's still less than half the normal Copenhagen price, but for us it's quite the budget crusher at the moment. Oh well - some things can't be helped!

Another Thai island and yet another beautiful beach :) We are thouroughly enjoying the views, even though one could think we are 'beached out' after 3,5 months in South East Asia... maybe we are looking more closely again now that our time here is all too soon coming to an end! But we are also really looking forward to Sydney and currently struggling to figure out accommodation and jobs there - it stays exciting! ;)

Leaving beautiful Ton Sai... this taxi boat will bring us to the bigger boat that will get us to Koh Lanta 2 hours later. Maybe it's finally time for some fun dives again? We are close to some of the world's best dive sites, but the prices are sky high and not just a little strain on our travel budget... but it's about time we finally see a shark! (Right, Sandra?! ;)
