And - last but not least - the 50s style restaurant, with an extensive list of both Thai and old-school Western dishes - I very much enjoyed my Filet Mignon yesterday, made after an authentic recipe from decades ago :)

Lobby, coming back from the pool area - meet one of the hotel ca. 30 cats... the staff never tires of playing with them with a piece of string. Fun.

The pool - not renovated (and possibly not cleaned!) since the 50s, but oh-so-refreshing in steaming Bangkok! Trying to do my 700-800 meters before breakfast each morning (especially hard since the pool length is only 17 mtrs!)
