Was the climb up the hill to a panoramic warang (second time today, as both beaches in this town are also only reachable by going over the hill!) worth it?
I'd say yes because of the gorgeous view at sunset, but the food was nothing to write home about (even though I am doing exactly that now!). A curry so bland that I actually worried about a minute or two about having lost my sense of taste, and an equally uninspiring fish soup (although that one carried at least an extra protein surprise - halfway through I discovered it was full of tiny ants)... oh well. Better food tomorrow, and a fresh fruit buffet for breakfast - yum!
