... but pretty damn close.

Apart from hundreds of hagglers, beach shacks serving food from all imaginable countries and loud tourists from England, Russia and of course Denmark and Germany everywhere, Legian in Bali's south is also home to the most gorgeous sunsets, warm water (though with a mean surf!) and a pretty good local brew... So we are enjoying our time (and the delicious balinese food) here, but are also happy to move on to Ubud tomorrow.

Even though we tried hard to catch some local bacteria by eating from the dirtiest street stands and -carts, we seem to be immune to the Bali belly until now... let's see when our luck turns, we'll give it our best try ;)
