Here we are in Coober Pedy.

Met up with the auto electrician in Port Augusta this morning. He fixed a few things and we were hopeful that would solve the problem. In fact, it did ensure power was flowing into the leisure batteries, but it didn't improve the performance of our fridge! It seems we're just going to have to live with this power-hungry fridge, until some time in the future when we replace it!! That might be sooner rather than later …

The drive from Pt Augusta to Coober Pedy was long, but the scenery was quite amazing. We're looking forward to showing Lisanne when we come back down this way next week :-)

We woke this morning (very early for me, and much earlier for C), to find that the whole town of Coober Pedy had no power. And for poor Harvey's leisure batteries, that's not good news :-( Never mind. At least it cooled down overnight, so we opened some windows to let in the cool air. Of course, that won't last long. The further north we go, the hotter it will get.

Today we fill up with fuel, and head further north to Kulgera.
