Here we are in Coober Pedy, South Australia, an opal mining town.
We left Kulgera this morning at 8.00 am, but crossed into South Australia only 20 minutes later. There the time was one hour later, so suddenly it was 9.20 am. We lost an hour without realising it!
The drive was long and uneventful (459 km). The only wildlife we saw was a dingo crossing the Stuart Highway in front of us!
We lunched in Harvey at Cagney Station, and made it to Coober Pedy around 3.00 pm.
Set up the RV, and then headed off around the corner to feed some rescued kangaroos and give a joey a cuddle (a joey is a baby kangaroo).
Now we're about the have our BBQ dinner - steak with sweet potato and some salad. Maybe a glass of wine with it as well :-)

We forgot to write about the spider webs we've been seeing, especially up around Uluru and Kings Canyon. These webs were up to 2-3 metres wide, and the had the most horrible spiders in them :-( We're happy to see the back of them no
