We are waiting for a suitable weather window to cover at least the 260 nm separating Durban from East London. The Indian Ocean can be extremely rough and we are not trying to challenge Neptune. He has been kind to us so far. If the wind is blowing from the right direction (that is N, NE) we could continue straight to Simons Town....wait and see.
The first opportunity seems to be available on the 28th in the afternoon, this means we will still be in Durban Harbour on Atlantis for Christmas. The view from our anchorage is stunning and we have more wind to cool us down....yes it is hot in Durban!! You should have a look at our pictures. In all our excitement we forgot the Christmas tree, but the spirit is still intact.
