Atlantis is in the V&A marina in Cape Town after another eventful sail between Simon's Town and Cape Town. The rounding of the Cape of Good Hoop went well...a bit of waves and current but no winds above 20kts. Due to a limited weather window we had to motor most of the way to keep our speed up and avoid coming into the predicted headwind of 15kts. At 10nm South of Houtbay Atlantis went through illegal fisherman's nets at more than 3nm of the shore. Disaster...

With speeds up to 13.5 kts and an average of just above 7 kts, she became even faster after her rebuild and increased buoyancy at the stern.
