Hi guys,

Again sorry for the wait but travelling through Indonesia in Ramadan is quite tricky! This blog will be about our second bit of Bali when we went to Ubud a town just north to where we were before. Its quieter and more beautiful and has a monkey sanctuary where you can play with the wild monkeys all day long!! will post the photos up soon but i'm scared to incase we lose them all again and the camera seems to be playing up again so i'm going to wait for a better internet cafe i think...

We spent 2 days in Ubud and met up with a London couple that we had met a few days before and had a meal with them which was nice. They have been travelling for a year and are not going back till Feb!! They had already travelled through Java and so gave us some info on the best and cheapest way to get to mount Bromo. When we arrived in Ubud we realised how bad a place Kuta was (landscape wise) so if you ever go to Bali try and travel all around the island it is really beautiful.

The guy who owned our hotel, who had been waiting when we got off the bus in Ubud and took us straight to his hotel! was keen (as everyone b***** is!) to sell us tours and stuff and we ended up paying over the odds to go to Bali zoo in his car just to make him leave us alone! it was worth it though it was a briliant zoo, if a bit touchy feely in that one individual of everyhting was out for you to pet and have your picture taken with which was a bit over the top. You could even feed the big cats through the bars! hmm....

After that we hopped on a night bus the next day and got to a town north of Bromo in Java called Probolingo at 2am.
