Ok so blog number three for today....

We arrived in Gili Trawangan today after initially wanting to just go to Meno island but the boats all got higgledy piggledy and we ended up here! no sweat coz you could swim between them if it wasn't for the deadly currents, so we gonna see all three now. this is the party island of the 3, and there are many bars and restaurants here all right over the beach and with padded cushions and loungers, little tv/dvd booths where you can drink beer and watch a pirate new release film (very cool idea), and the snorkelling here is meant to be excellent, should see some turtles tomorrow!!!!! I cant describe to you how beautiful, turquoise sea, white sand, palm trees, coral reefs and turtles... ner ner ner ner nerrrr!!!! This is our new home so we will see you next christmas instead maybe??

Tuesday 18th:

Today we slept in for the first time in 3 weeks, had breakfast on the beach, hired some snorkelling gear and headed up the island to see some fishies....Oh My God... we never new there could be that much life under one patch of coast!! the sea is turquiose green and gets deep quite quickly for a bit and then drops off into a deep channel that we hovered over by the edge but didnt go over for fear of sharks! A lot of coral has sadly died but out further there is loads and so many fish in colours you cant imagine! after an hour in one place we decided to have a break and walk up the beach a bit more to wear the sand is whiter and softer...we snorkelled for 2 hours there and it was even better! and to top it all off we saw a turtle!!!!!! We swam with it for 20 minutes as it came up for air and then we watched as it sat on the sea bed and chomped on coral. Hayley was trying not to cry as we watched it as she wouldnt be able to see through her mask! It was brilliant, yet another highlight of this amazing trip! so we have decided to stay here tomorrow aswell to do more snorkelling and rent bikes and go and see all the island, which will probably take about ten minutes! then we will be hopping next door to Gili Meno to play being Robinson Crusoe so there will be no internet but when when we hop to Gili Air after that we will update you again.

It so amazing here i never want to leave, everyone come out here! it would proabaly only cost you about 600 quid and the hotel is 3 pound a night! do it!
