The boat to Phuket was very calm, a good job too as it was raining very heavily and we had to sit inside! It was a short journey then to our hotel and when we arrived we explored the hotel and settled for the night. The hotel was huge and quite eery which didn't help as we kept getting lost, the breakfast was also a miss so we decided to venture out to find a good cafe, we searched high and low and after countless stalls serving rice, noodles and dodgy things on sticks, ended up in Maccy D's! We promised ourselves we wouldn't but in all honesty its come to our saviour 1 too many times these past few weeks! The pro's though were that the hotel had a good communal area with TV, free Internet and self service laundry facilities.

As we were staying in the city there wasn't any beaches near by so we decided to take a trip to The Central Festival shopping mall, Ash bought a couple of t.shirts (to add to his collection) and we spent the afternoon sipping Iced Chocolate/Latte (they are mad about iced drinks over here, not complaining though as they are yummy!)

It was a short stay in Phuket and later in the day we were boarding a plane to Malaysia. Kuala Lumpur here we come!
