In Koh Phangan we only had a 2 night stay, as there isnt an awful lot to do unless your up for a party. The Full Moon parties are huge!

We hired a scooter for the day to explore the island. The locals dont wear helmets so we felt like proper tourists. At first they didnt even give me one, they said only the driver! Of course, i insisted! So off we went to Koh Ma, a tiny island in the north of Koh Phangang that you walk to via a small strip of sand, it was very pretty and the water was perfectly clear. We had lunch at the beach cafe. Ash had a beefburger which was certainly not beef! They insisted it was, but it tasted more like a cross between chicken and pork - we were convinced it was dog!

On our way back we took a few wrong turns (which by the way has been happening alot since weve been here - i blame the driver!) and ended up wobbling all over the road into a huge pot hole until eventually coming to a stop, it was so funny i almost peed myself! Of course Ash blamed me for leaning too much to one side!

That evening we went in search of somewhere nice to eat and ended up finding an English Pub with a beer garden and all. Ahh...Gammon Ham, Egg and Chips!

Next stop is Koh Tao...
